One of the biggest fashion influencers right now is the Kardashian’s little sister, Kylie Jenner! She’s been setting trends since she was 16, and her name has been on everyone’s lips (wink, wink) lately! So, we made a tutorial modeled after her makeup routine. She's famous for her natural-looking, flawless face and over-lined lips in a brown shade she single-handedly brought back from the ‘90s grunge era. And that's no easy feat! In the video, the steps are condensed down to four for the sake of simplicity. But just in case that's not detailed enough for you, I went into depth over the exact steps and tools used below!

Our model, Kianna, is wearing the Greer Plaid Tunic!

Step 1. Conceal

Using a Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer Pod, a yellow based concealer, color correct to cancel out any redness. A tiny dot goes a long way with this product! Apply with an EcoTools Concealer Brush in a “V” shape to brighten up your face and draw attention to your eyes.

Step 2. Contour

Using Shiseido’s “The Makeup Stick,” start out by contouring under the cheek bone, under the jawline, and down the sides of the nose.

Step 3. Blend

Grab your Beautyblender and run it under water and squeeze out all the excess until it is slightly damp. Then, use the flat bottom to blend it all together in a stippling motion. This ensures there aren’t any harsh lines and the contour is distributed evenly throughout the hollows of the cheeks and along the jawline. Next, use the pointed tip of the Beautyblender to blend in the nose contour.

Step 4. Powder

Use the Real Techniques Blush Brush with the Inglot Cosmetics yellow pressed powder in the T-Zone and wherever else is necessary for a highlighted, matte finish. Doing so will cancel out any red undertones in the skin.

Step 5. Bronzer + Blush

Use the EcoTools Fan Brush and the Inglot Cosmetics deep pink shimmer bronzer, deep brown shimmer bronzer and neutral taupe matte bronzer to accentuate the temples.

Step 6. Brows

Fill in the eyebrows using the MUD Academy Angled Brush with the Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette in “Dreamer.” If you’re a brunette, use a shade lighter than your hair color, if you’re a blonde, use a shade darker. This will make them look natural and complimentary to your skin tone.

Step 7. Eyes

Start off using the Morphe Blending Brush with the Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette in “Force of Nature” all over the lid. Repeat the process with more drastic color to build off the warm base. Next use the golden shades from the Pure Cosmetics Nude Collection Eyeshadow Palette and press onto the lid and in the outer corner. Clean up any fall-out with the EcoTools Concealer Brush.

Step 8. Lashes

Use the Duo Eyelash Adhesive in Black to apply the Ardell 102 Demi lashes on the top lash. Then use a few of the Ardell Individual lashes on each of the bottom lashes. Apply a few coats of mascara over the false lashes to make sure they blend with your real lashes.

Step 9. Eye Liner

Wet a Morphe Angled Brush angled brush and dip into the Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette in “Fashionista” and follow the eyelash line to connect the false lashes to the eyelid. Go back over the eyeshadow once more with the EcoTools Blending Brush and the Pure Cosmetics Nude Collection Eyeshadow Palette in “Caramel” to make sure everything is blended.

Step 10. Lips

Using the Kevyn Aucoin Lip Liner in Medium, line right above the natural white line around your lips to make them look bigger. Start at your cupid’s bow, and follow the white line just above the natural lip line. Then once you get to the middle of the top lip, go back to following the natural lip line for that perfect pout. With an angled lip brush, use a small amount of leftover foundation to line around the entire lip to clean it up the lines. Then use a fluffy brush and a light amount of translucent powder to hold the liner in place. Repeat the lip liner process, then use a concealer pencil to highlight the outer corners of the lip, cupid’s bow and right under the middle of the bottom lip. Go in with the same angled lip brush and feather out the concealer pencil. Add a few layers of NYX Matte Lipstick in “London” and you’re lips are complete!
