One of my favorite things about this time of year is the seasonal music and movies! To me, the best way to get into holiday spirit is to turn on the classic Christmas tunes and pop in a staple Christmas-themed film. Personally, I enjoy the comedies to any other genre, and when looking into it, I realized I was not alone! Most of the Christmas films are funny one way or another, depending on your humor I suppose! So scroll down to see what my top 10 cult favorite Christmas comedies of all time are!

1. A Christmas Story (1983)

Number one on the list, not only because it's the oldest, but easily one of the best!

2. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - (1989)

Chevy Chase, what's not to love?

 3. Home Alone - (1990)

Woof! The first in a series is always the best, and the case here couldn't ring more true!

4. The Santa Clause - (1994)

I remember watching this over and over when I was little! Tim Allen makes the perfect Kris Kringle. Who knew?

5. Jingle All The Way - (1996)

Please tell me you've at least heard about this cheesy-but-good comedy featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger?

6. Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas - (2000)

"Hate, hate, hate, loathe entirely!" Jim Carrey is one of my favorite comedy actors, and he plays the role of the Grinch seamlessly!

7. The Elf (2003)

Obviously this made the list! So many good one-liners, thanks to the ever-humorous jokester, Will Ferriell!

8. Christmas with the Kranks - (2004)

Two points for Tim Allen staring in another Christmas film! I'll admit, I haven't seen this one yet, it's currently on "My List" on Netflix just waiting to be watched!

9. Just Friends - (2005)

I. LOVE. RYAN. REYNOLDS! I watch this one every, sometimes twice, a year, and die of laughter every time! With a supporting cast of Anna Farris and Chris Klein, it's a major must-watch!

10. Four Christmases - (2008)

Reese Witherspoon is one of my favorite actresses, and she could not be any cuter in this hilarious film!

Which film is your favorite? Are there any that you would add to the list? Let me know in the comments! Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you!

XOXO
